Hello, my name is Scruffy though I look better than I did a couple of weeks ago now that I am getting fed and brushed. A nice man found me wandering around in the cold after my family had abandoned me to life on the streets. My mouth was injured from trying to eat sharp things to stay alive. I'm not a spring chicken but luckily the man that found me got me into a no-kill shelter where I'll be given a chance to find a warm home to live out my life. I would be good for an older couple or person that doesn't expect me to run around and play because I would just prefer to lay by your side and keep you company while you read or watch tv. I am a real gentleman and like to be held and petted and I love to sleep. For now I need to eat soft canned food (lucky for me) till my mouth heals completely.
