Mine is a very sad story of my owner having someone, not a professional, remove part of my leg… Several months after part of my leg had been removed (and the remainder never treated by a Vet) my owner died. His family didn’t want me and were going to take me out to the “back forty….”. A very nice lady and her family insisted on taking me from the owner’s son. They got me to the nice people of Save Our Strays. My leg was beyond salvaging and the remainder of the leg was removed to prevent further injury/infection.
I am quite capable of getting around and am a very loving cat (in spite of the poor treatment…). There are a couple dogs in my fosters home but I haven’t really had much to do with them. I am a purring machine once you get me started. I am looking forward to finding my forever home where I never have to worry about being mistreated again. Won’t you adopt me?
