As a non-profit 501(c)(3), your donation is tax deductible. S.O.S. is a non-profit organization without a shelter. We are volunteers who donate uncountable hours to help the animals. We are only limited in helping the animals to the amount of funding available to pay the veterinary costs. Please give generously!

If you would like to donate items instead of money, here are some things our foster homes can always use:

• Cat/kitten food - dry or canned
• Cat litter - clumping is preferred, but we can use the regular clay variety as well
• Flea preventatives - we only use the vet-recommended varieties because they're safest - Frontline, Revolution or Advantage
• Paper towels
• Disinfectants/cleaning supplies (bleach, sprays like 409, scrub brushes/sponges, air fresheners, etc.)
• Handheld vacuums (i.e. Dustbuster - though brand isn't important) - for quick clean-up of litter/food spills
• Old newspapers - for lining cages
• Old towels/bedding - for clean-up and to make cages more comfortable
• Cat beds - we only ask that they be washable
• Cat toys and treats
• Cat condos/trees - to make our foster rooms more fun!
• Scrap fabric - for making our catnip bag/toy fundraisers
• Used books/CDs/DVDs - we sell them as a fundraiser
• Cages and carriers
• Humane small animal traps (i.e. Have-a-Heart)
